Tiger Cubs

Tiger Cubs is the program for boys in the first grade, and their parents

Official BSA image, Tony TigerWhen a boy starts the first grade, he is just the right age to join a Tiger Cub Den. Tiger cubs are a wonderful program especially designed for young boys and a parent/guardian. The boys and their parent are led by a coach, who is often a parent of one of the boys. Together, they meet 2 or 3 times a month and live the Tiger Cub motto: Search, Discover Share!

Activities include Den meetings, monthly field trips called "Go See-its", and monthly pack meetings. The Pack includes the tiger cubs and the boys in the other dens, from Wolves up to Webelos. Tiger Cubs earn advancement towards rank on their journey towards earning the Tiger Badge. The Tiger Badge is a permanent award and is worn on the blue cub scout uniform.

Tiger Cubs is a special program geared towards awareness and adventure for first graders. There are no performance requirements to advance in the Tiger Cub program, all that is required is participation.
